Gibson ES-135
Gibson introduced the ES-135 and ES-137 models to be modern classics. Slightly deeper body than slimline with a maple block like the ES-335 and a trapeze tailpiece, these guitars always represent good value for money. They are practical, versatile and classic-looking. You can take this guitar out on gigs without worrying about it.
This Gibson ES-135 is in good to average condition. One of the knobs has shattered so we will supply it with a brand new set of black speed knobs – they just haven’t arrived in time for the pictures, but you will get them from us, that’s for sure. There’s some finish cracks back and front of the headstock and on the heel and two dings on the top at the pointed part of the cutaway – see pictures. Everything else is fine, especially if you happen to like flatwound 12 gauge strings.
It has a very pretty one piece (laminate) maple back – see there’s no join down the center, the grain is continuous and a top of the range Gator hard case with key!
