Gibson EB0 / EB3 bass 69

1969 Gibson EB0 / EB3 bass

Mahogany vintage Gibson SG bass. Classic rock bass

This bass has plenty of player wear, with a graze on the back and scuffing at the edges on the lower bout. It’s had a professional neck reset; you can see where the neck / body join was retouched in the process.

Amazing Gibson bass growl in the neck position and good funk sound back at the bridge. Original tuners and hard flight case (with one broken latch). Good value Gibson bass.

It’s very possible that this bass started life as an EB-0 then had the bridge pickup and pickup selector switch added at a later date.

It's here! And it's amazing. Actually the best playing guitar I've owned so far. I played it in rehearsal today and I really dig the sound. Big box sound out of this light, handy thinline. Thank you very much for the relaxed business, it was a pleasure dealing with you!
