66 Epiphone Granada Cut
Description
Very desirable example of a Gibson-made (blue Kalamazoo label) Epiphone Granada.
This guitar is all original and very, very clean. There’s hardly any wear on the frets, which are nice and big and it has a lovely feeling mid sixties neck, measuring somewhere between 1-5/8” and 1-9/16”. (It's slightly chunkier than the non-cut Granada we have.)
In common with the Gibson 120T, the Granada has all its electrics contained in the pickup moulding, which made this a very easy guitar to manufacture. The pickup is a single coil PU-380 (as fitted to the Melody maker) which sounds incredible especially with a little distortion.
There is light scuffing on the back, perhaps a music book was kept under the guitar in the case, and the case is not original.
