62 Gibson ES-125 TC
Description
Perhaps this guitar was hardly out of its case; there’s hardly any player wear and the colour hasn’t faded as the cherry red sunburst is still as bright as it was 40 years ago. The frets are virtually un-worn, although the back of the neck and headstock have probably been refinished and the tuners replaced in the past.
It has an early 60s neck (1-11/16” at nut) – these are wider then than later sixties necks. Neck width and feel is of course, highly subjective, but if you prefer a wider but not deep and chunky (50s style) Gibson neck, then this one will certainly float your boat.
The black faced P-90 pickup is insanely powerful when plugged-in. This little guitar really rocks. It’s lightweight, looks bright and beautiful, and plays like a demon possessed!
One other thing. This is a lucky guitar - the serial number is 77977.
