Description
Simply gorgeousl. This example is lovely to play, projects as it should - being both warm and powerful.
With it's amazing sound, the L-7 was the most successful of the professional vintage Gibson acoustic guitars, being produced from 1933 to 1972.
See the pictures for the neck wear above the 2nd fret (thumb) and the spots on both sides of the front of the base of the headstock where a hanger or strap bit into the finish and was retouched.
This 1949 instrument is in good condition and is totally original. Even the case is right (and that's worth $1000 on its own!)
Gibson L7 features
17” Triple-bound top, maple back
Hand-carved solid spruce top
Headstock with crown inlay and Gibson
Double parallelogram fingerboard markers
Brazilian rosewood fingerboard
Kluson Deluxe tuners
Cast trapeze tailpiece with triple raised parallelograms
Long multi-ply pickguard
Brown hard wood case with blue plush lining
