Firstly, silverface Twin Reverbs are really cool amps. There's nothing you cant do with one and there's not a gig (or living room) which can't be improved with the addition of a genuine Fender Twin Reverb. There's not a style of music which isn't played on a Twin. The tone is simply magical, there's a chime to the trebles and the mids and bass tones just rock. I'm a jazzer and this amp is so jazz, but I always play something rocky and riffy when I fire it up and plug in, cos it's so play-me-baby-rock-me-gently.

If it is a gig, then it's got the chrome tilt legs so that its warm tube sounds can rise up from the stage and gently overcome the willing audience, knees trembling with every chord and tone you play.

Beware though, this amp is very loud. It'll go all the way to 10 without distorting - which is why it's so good of course - a basic, clean, vintage sound which you can control from your guitar or with FX. It has a push/pull master volume if you want a slightly boosted sound (most owners dont know its there and ignore it even when they find it) and treble, middle bass and volume for each channel. There's reverb and tremolo on B plus a footswitch for channel switching and reverb.

Dating from 75 -79, this amp has a good set of Russian tubes with the bias correctly set (we do actually care enough about these things to set-up our amps before we sell them, you know), 12 month warranty.
